Motion: The Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by <br /> purchase, gift, eminent domain, land exchange or otherwise, all or portions of <br /> the following parcels of land for municipal use, including construction of a <br /> high school and related facilities (map and block references are to the 1993 <br /> Mashpee Assessors' Maps) : <br /> Map 72, Block 100, being approximately 6 acres located southeast of <br /> Old Barnstable Road; and further to authorize the Board of Selectmen to <br /> convey, pursuant to a sale or in exchange for land to be received by the Town <br /> as part of land swap, all or portions of the following parcels of land in <br /> connection with such acquisition and the acquisition of land for municipal <br /> use, including construction of a high school and related facilities, <br /> previously authorized by vote of the Town under Article 2 of the warrant for <br /> the December 4, 1993 Special Town Meeting. <br /> Map 72, Block 100, being approximately 6 acres located southeast of <br /> Old Barnstable Road: <br /> Map 79, Block 17, being approzimately 60 acres located southeast of <br /> Old Barnstable Road; all of said transactions to be upon such terms and <br /> conditions as the Selectmen deem proper. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion carries. . . 221 yes 1 no. . . . . .8:42 p.m. <br /> Article 14 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from <br /> available funds a sum of $10,000 to establish a Demolition Building Account. <br /> Said Account shall be expended under the direction of the Board of Selectmen <br /> for the purpose of funding removal , demolition or the securing and making safe <br /> of unused or unsafe structures designated by the Inspector of Builldings under <br /> the State Building Code and the provisions of G.L. c. 143, and funding the <br /> cleaning, demolition or removal of uninhabitable or nuisance buildings or <br /> structures designated by the Board of Health under G.L. c. 111 , Sec. 127B or <br /> the State Sanitary Code. Expenditures made from such account shall constitute <br /> a debt of the owner of the subject property to the Town of Mashpee and a lien <br /> upon the subject property in accordance with the provisions of G.L. c. 139, <br /> Sec. 3A. <br /> Submitted by the Building Inspector <br /> Motion: To postpone indefinitely. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends to indefinitely postpone. <br /> Motion carries. . . . . . . . . . . . . .8:48 p.m. <br /> Article 15 <br />
