Submitted by DPW Director <br /> Explanation: This article will bring Mashpee' s position of Director of Public <br /> ` Works to the average of other towns . <br /> Motion: Motion to approve the reclassification of the position of Director of <br /> Public Works to grade 20 , and for said purpose to raise and appropriate $2,938 <br /> ` to the DPW Salary/Wage Account. <br /> Motion carries by voice vote 9:55 p.m. <br /> Article 23 : <br /> To see if the Town will vote to reclassify the position of Personnel <br /> Assistant , Grade 10 (Step 5) , to Personnel Administrator, Grade 12 (Step 3 ) , <br /> classified under the Town' s Personnel Administration Plan (Appendix B) and to <br /> increase the hours from 37 1/2 hours to 40 hours weekly with said <br /> reclassification to be effective July 1 , 1993 and to raise and appropriate <br /> $2 ,781 to be allocated to the Personnel Salary Account. <br /> Submitted by Personnel Board <br /> Explanation: This article is based on the reclassification study of all <br /> P.A.P. positions . This reclassification more accurately reflects the duties <br /> and responsibilities of the position. The action of this article will promote <br /> both internal and external equity, and has been forwarded as a result of study <br /> and recommendation by the Personnel Board, <br /> Motion: Motion Article 23 be voted as printed in the warrant. <br /> Motion to raise and appropriate $2781 . <br /> Motion carries by voice vote 9 : 55 p.m. <br /> Article 24 : <br /> To see if ' the Town will vote to create a non-standard part-time <br /> position of Administrative Secretary to the Board of Appeals for 19 hours <br /> weekly at Grade 8 of the Personnel Administration Plan, Appendix B. and to <br /> fund this position raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a <br /> sum of money to the Board of Appeals Salary/Wage Account . <br /> Submitted by Personnel Board <br /> Explanation: This article is based on the reclassification study of all <br /> P.A.P. positions .
