Submitted by Petition Recommendation: Finance Committee does not recommend approval. Motion made to raise and appropriate $5,496. Motion to raise and appropriate passes at 9:45 p.m. Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan laying out and defining Wintergreen Road and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for appropriation a sum of money to the Wintergreen Road Account and to raise said appropriation the Treasurer with the approval of the Board of Selectmen be authorized to borrow at one time, or from time to time, a sum of money under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7 or 8 or any other enabling authority and to issue bonds and notes of the Town therefor, and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to the Wintergreen Road Account to provide interest and debt issuance expenses, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by Petition Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made to raise and appropriate $4,000. Motion to raise and appropriate passes unanimously at 9:46 p.m. Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to Amend the Mashpee Code, Section 40-4 "Warrant articles"to change the words, "The Board of Selectmen, who shall forthwith give notice at least fourteen (14) days before such meeting or election by posting a copy of said Warrant"to read, "The Board of Selectmen,who shall forthwith give notice at least thirty(30 days before such meeting or election by posting a copy of said Warrant" or take any other action relating thereto.
