Article 19. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $60,916, <br /> with said funds to be distributed as follows: $53,192 to the Medical Insurance Account and <br /> $7,724 to the Medicare Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the School Committee <br /> Motion made to raise and appropriate $60,916.00 to be distributed as follows: $53,192 to <br /> the Medical Insurance Account and $7,724 to the Medicare Account <br /> Motion passes at 7:45 p.m. <br /> Article 20. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by purchase or <br /> eminent domain for conservation purposes a parcel of land containing 2.73 acres, more or less, ; <br /> identified on the 1995 Mashpee Assessors Maps as Map 43, Block 1, generally located on <br /> Grafton Pocknett Road and surrounded by the Town conservation area known as John's Pond j <br /> Park, to be held in the care and custody of the Conservation Commission pursuant to }; <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8C; and further, to see if the Town will <br /> authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or Conservation Commission to apply for and accept <br /> Federal and/or State grants, including reimbursement under Chapter 132A, Section 11 of the <br /> General Laws, to be applied by the Town toward the financing of this purchase, and to enter into <br /> contracts or agreements with Federal and/or State agencies, private conservation trusts or other <br /> entities or persons in connection with the purchase of such land and its preservation for <br /> conservation purposes; and finally, to see if the Town will authorize the Conservation <br /> Commission and the Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any and all <br /> instruments as may be necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said purchase or taking; or <br /> take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Conservation Commission <br /> Motion made to accept as read with the exception of "or take any action therein". i <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:51 p.m. <br /> Article 21. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by purchase or <br /> otherwise for conservation purposes a parcel of land containing 75 acres, more or less, being Lot <br /> B and a portion of Lot C shown on a"Plan of Land in Mashpee, Mass. Prepared for the j <br /> Bufflehead Bay Nominee Trust,"revised date November 6, 1995, by Hayes Engineering, Inc. of <br /> Wakefield, MA, as well as the major portion of Lot 4 shown on Land Court Plan 40422A, copies <br /> of which plans are on file in the office of the Town Clerk, said land also being portions of those <br /> parcels shown on the 1995 Mashpee Assessors Maps as Map 115, Blocks 1, 6, 7, and 8, <br /> generally located between upper Great River, Jehu Pond,Abigail's Brook and Great Oak Road, <br /> to be held in the care and custody of the Conservation Commission pursuant to Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40, Section 8C; and further,to see if the Town will vote to appropriate <br />
