$1,500,000 or any other sum for such purpose, including expenses incidental and related thereto,
<br /> and to raise such appropriation, the Treasurer,with the approval of the Selectmen, be authorized
<br /> to borrow $1,500,000 or any other sum under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Sections 7 and 8C
<br /> and, of the general laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town
<br /> therefor,provided that no bonds or notes of the Town shall be issued unless and until (1) a grant
<br /> agreement has been executed between the Town and The Commonwealth of Massachusetts for
<br /> reimbursement to the Town in the amount of$500,000 under General Laws Chapter 132A,
<br /> Section 11, or any other applicable law, and(2) one or more additional grants or donations of
<br /> $750,000 toward said purchase have been received from the Trust for Public Land or any other
<br /> source; and further,to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from
<br /> available funds $500 or any other sum to the Issuance of Debt Account; and further, to see if the
<br /> Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or Conservation Commission to apply for and
<br /> accept Federal and/or State grants, including reimbursement under Chapter 132A, Section 11 of
<br /> the General Laws, the "Self-Help Act," to be applied by the Town toward the financing of this
<br /> purchase, and to enter into contracts or agreements with Federal and/or State agencies, private
<br /> conservation trusts or other entities or persons in connection with the purchase of such land and
<br /> its preservation for conservation purposes; connection with the purchase of such land and its
<br /> preservation for conservation purposes; and finally, to see if the Town will authorize the
<br /> Conservation Commission and the Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any
<br /> and all instruments as may be necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said purchase; or
<br /> take any other action relating thereto.

<br /> otherwise for conservation purposes a parcel of land containing 75 acres, more or less,
<br /> being Lot B and a portion of Lot C shown on a "Plan of Land in Mashpee, Mass. Prepared
<br /> for the Bufflehead Bay Nominee Trust," revised date November 6, 1995, by Hayes
<br /> Engineering, Inc. of Wakefield, MA, as well as the major portion of Lot 4 shown on Land
<br /> Court Plan 40422A, copies of which plans are on file in the office of the Town Clerk, said
<br /> land also being portions of those parcels shown on the 1995 Mashpee Assessors Maps as
<br /> Map 115, Blocks 1, 6, 7, and 8, generally located between upper Great River,Jehu Pond,
<br /> Abigail's Brook and Great Oak Road, to be held in the care and custody of the
<br /> Conservation Commission pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section
<br /> 8C; and further, to see if the Town will vote to appropriate $1,500,000 or any other sum for
<br /> such purpose, including expenses incidental and related thereto, and to raise such
