Explanation: Mashpee's Zoning By-law has Article XVIII called "Enforcement and Penalties," which outlines the procedures for the Building Inspector to follow. It also provides a penalty of $300 per day, which is inconsistent with the current sign article. The deletion of this section will allow Article XVIII to apply to the sign article as it does to the rest of Mashpee's Zoning By- law. Or take any other action thereon. Submitted by the Sign Code Study Committee Motion: Vote to amend the zoning by-law Article 10 by making the changes set forth in Article 45 of the warrant under the Roman numeraled items listed in Section A through R of the Article with the following modifications, delete the phrase, "if so determined by the DPW Director" from the following places. At the end of the sentence under item 3 in Section D, Bylaw Section 174-54B, at the end of the sentence under item I in Section K, Bylaw section 174-55C, and at the end of the first sentence under item 2 in Section K, Bylaw section 174-55C. To see if the Town will vote to accept the layout of Amanda's Way as a public way as shown on a plan entitled "Layout of Amanda Way, Located in Mashpee, - Mass.", which layout will have been filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, not later than seven days prior to the date of the vote hereunder and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, purchase or eminent domain taking any land necessary for the purposes of such way as so laid out, and to raise and appropriate, transfer from available funds or borrow a sum or sums for such purchase or taking tti including borrowing costs therefor, and to further authorize the Board of Selectmen to assess bettermentis to the owners of the land abutting the way, or take any other action relating thereto.
