Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $63,775 to fund a contract between the Town and SEIU, Local 254, Clerical and DPW Units for the period beginning July 1, 1998 with funds to be distributed to various salary line accounts by the Town Accountant. Motion passes unanimously at 7:44pm. Article 4 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $83,560 to fund a contract between the Town and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, Local 389, Units A and B, for the period beginning July 1, 1998, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article is placed on the warrant to provide funding for a contract between the Town and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, Local 389, Units A and B. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Curtis Frye. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article is placed on the warrant to provide funding for a contract between the Town and the International Association of Firefighters, Local 2519. At the time of publication, this agreement was not finalized. The funds for this article are estimated not to exceed $42,181. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval.
