i <br /> i <br /> any gutters, beams or other drainage facilities shall be <br /> in addition to the required lane width, including parking <br /> lanes; <br /> (b) paved sidewalks of at least four feet in width shall be <br /> required on one (1) side of streets having five hundred <br /> (500) to one thousand (1,000) trips per day and on both <br /> sides of streets having over one thousand (1,000) trips <br /> per day; <br /> (c) where required by the Planning Board, bicycle facilities <br /> shall be constructed along such streets in the form of <br /> two (2) five-foot-wide paved shoulder bike lanes or a <br /> paved bikeway or mixed bicycle / pedestrian facility <br /> having a width of at least 10 feet." <br /> Amend Subsection H. by deleting the words ", except single-family detached <br /> structures," from the first sentence. <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article would amend various portions of the Open Space <br /> Incentive Development (OSID) bylaw to: <br /> • update certain references, <br /> • correct certain transcription errors, <br /> • clarify that one-family townhouse-style buildings on individual lots will be <br /> treated the same as "one-family detached dwellings" within the bylaw, <br /> particularly with reference to the creation of lots for such townhouses which <br /> have no restriction on the number of bedrooms allowed, <br /> • restrict the bylaw's 100 foot limit on the length of single wall planes to <br /> residential uses on individual lots, <br /> • reduce the required setback of sewage facilities and trash storage buildings <br /> from 300 to 200 feet from the project boundary, <br /> • clarify that non-residential uses are allowed in commercially-zoned portions <br /> of an OSID project, <br /> • clarify that lots smaller than required by the underlying zoning district are <br /> allowed within OSID projects, <br /> • allow for off-site or on-street parking facilities for lots within the OSID and <br /> • remove certain street design standards in deference to the Planning Board's <br /> subdivision and special permit regulations. <br /> • allow one-family detached dwellings on separate lots within commercially- <br /> zoned portions of mixed-use OSID projects <br /> Motion made by Curtis Frye. <br />
