r Article 29 d i To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to transfer that parcel of land shown on the 1999 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 62, Blocks 244, containing 6.34 acres, more or less and located between Carleton Drive, Ashers Path and Route 28, to the Mashpee Housing Authority for the purpose of constructing affordable senior housing and associated uses under the"Local Initiative Program"or any other appropriate affordable housing program, with such transfer to be made { subject to a deed restriction, which may contain a reverter clause, permanently restricting the property to said uses, and also subject to a restriction requiring that all development on said parcel be connected to a denitrifying wastewater treatment facility approved by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection or to a municipal sewer system; and further, vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to petition the General Court for special legislation authorizing such transfer and restrictions if necessary, to make use of other agencies and instrumentalities of the Town and to enter into any agreements necessary to effect the transfer of such land in accordance with this Article, or take any other action relating thereto.
