Article 11 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create two (2) full-time police officer positions and further to <br /> raise and appropriate $37,904, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $15,070 to the <br /> Police Salary/Wage Account, $5,000 to the Police Expense Account, $70 to the Group Insurance <br /> Account, $16,890 to the Employee Medical Insurance Account and $874 to the Medicare <br /> Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Police Department <br /> Explanation: The two additional police officer positions will be assigned by the Chief of Police <br /> to the Patrol Division of the Police Department in order to accomplish community-policing duties <br /> important to the successful completion of the department's mission.
