In commercial districts, one (1) freestanding stand per road access point is permitted, <br /> with permission of lot owner where sign would be positioned. Such sign will be limited to the name of the <br /> business and shall direct the public to its location. Such signs may not exceed forty(40) square feet in <br /> signboard area and may not be closer than twelve (12) feet to any lot line. The top edge of any such <br /> freestandingsign shall g all be not higher than twenty-five (25) vertical measure above the average level of the <br /> ground between the suppcirts of each sign or take any other action related thereto. <br /> EXPLANATION: <br /> The purpose of this Article would allow a commercial business that is not visible from the road to advertise <br /> its location at a road access point.
