OR 16 21 Submitted by Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article would increase allowed building height in the C-1 Commercial zoning district (the commercial zone around the Mashpee Rotary) from 2 stories and 35 feet, to 3 stories and 45 feet in order to allow more efficient and compact development of projects in the Town's "downtown" commercial area. With the Fire Department's acquisition of a "tower" truck, fire emergencies in buildings of this height can now be properly dealt with, provided that proper access is provided for the Fire Department's equipment. Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on April 23, 2003 5-0 to make no recommendation.
