We hope to <br /> promote the general welfare pf the present residents by enhancing the <br /> value of the surrounding property, providing a tax surplus to the town, <br /> building a new golf course, and setting a high standard within the fact <br /> and intent of the new Zoning By-Laws for this relatively undeveloped <br /> section of town. Towards this goal the proposed Quashnet Valley Country <br /> Club will use cluster planning, high quality housing, and innovative <br /> design and landscaping to create a tranquil Cape Cod atmosphere. This <br /> will also be a recreationally oriented project and thus many of the new <br /> residents will probably be seasonal . <br /> The Quashnet Valley Condominiums would consist of 715 two bedrooms units. <br /> There are two basic types of units as shown in the architectural drawings; <br /> one is a two bedroom, two story attached home with 1 1/2 baths , kitchen <br /> with separate dining room and living room, the other is a one level two <br /> bedroom unit on either the ground level or second level with the same <br /> interior rooms. <br /> All units are heated by electric baseboard units with individual thermo- <br /> stats in all major rooms. All appliances are included; the electric range, <br /> refrigerator-freezer, garbage disposal unit, dishwasher and washer-dryer. <br /> Fireplaces and sliding glass doors are additional standard features. <br /> All unit types are combined in attached buildings of 3 to eight buildings <br /> which are arranged in neighborhood village clusters.
