TOWN OF MASHPEE, <br /> -1 R <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS r <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 Y <br /> r.9g Ca DECISION r f. <br /> June 3, 1981 <br /> Ret Petition of Marvin Blank & Sidney Fagelman d/b/a Quaker Run <br /> Associates Case # SP 81-5-014 <br /> A Petition was filed by Marvin Blank and Sidney Fagelman, <br /> d/b/a Quaker Run Associates, for a "Comprehensive Permit" under <br /> Chapter. 40B of the Massachusetts General Iaws, for permission to <br /> erect sixty-four (64) one-bedroom elderly and sixty-eight (68) two- <br /> bedroom units (low income) for a total of two hundred (200) bedrooms. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General laws, Chapter 40B. Notice was also given by <br /> publishing in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee on April 21, 1981 and April 28, <br /> 1981, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the said Petition, by the <br /> Board of Appeals, at the Mashpee Town Hall, on Wednesday, May 13, 1981 <br /> at 8100 p.m. , at which time the following members were present and <br /> acting throughoutt Robert J. Houle, Chairman, Michael Makunas, Raymond <br /> G. Sweeney. <br /> A presentation was made to the Board, by Attorney Michael <br /> Dunning, of the firm of Terry, Dunning & Terry on behalf of the <br /> Petitioner. After due. consideration, the Board unanimously voted to <br /> deny the application for the comprehensive permit and assigns the <br /> following reasons for this said denials <br /> 1. That the proposal was not consistent with local needs <br /> as defined in Chapter 40B of the Massachusetts General laws, insofaras <br />
