Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth
Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on
July 27 and August 3, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on
Wednesday, August 10, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members
of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Cheryl Hawver,
Richard Halpern and Edward Govoni.
The applicant presented plans for a sign made of stained glass which
he proposed to use on the outside of the building. Douglas Boyd, Building
Inspector, informed the Board that the Design Review Committee was opposed
to the glass sign since the property already had one approved sign.
The Board determined that the decision of the Building Inspector
was correctly issued and conformed with the requirements of the zoning
by-laws.
