• <br />BOARD OF APPEALS April 25, 1990 4. <br />Comments were heard from Ray Hall, Domenic DiMaggio, Bob Landray <br />Tom Andrew and Mary Pellegrini in favor of the flea market. <br />Louis Marandola, one of the owners of Fabio's, said that there were <br />sanitary problems last year but they are planning on six porto johns this <br />year and the rest rooms will comply with Board of Health standards. <br />'Mr. McQuaid asked who will be responsible for maintaining sanitary <br />conditions and Marandola replied that he will be in charge of this. <br />Mr. Jansson concluded that flea markets will be extinct due to the <br />cost of real estate and with an improvement in the economy they will no <br />longer exist. He urged the Board to make a decision as soon as possible. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to take the petition under advisement. Mr. <br />Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />Members of the Board reviewed the Wasil 1989 permit. Mr. Govoni <br />moved to reopen the hearing. Mr. Hanrahan seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Hanrahan stated he would approve a permit for one year only. <br />Board members agreed that no food should be served at the site and <br />that a minimum of 5 Porto johns would be maintained. Mr. Hanrahan <br />• moved to grant the Special Permit with conditions outlined. Mr. <br />Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Makunas and Mr. Halpern returned from the Planning Board hearing. <br />James J. Lindsley - (Advisement from April 11, 1990) <br />Members present: C. Hawver, M. Makunas, E. Govoni, R. Halpern <br />There was discussion of comments received from the Building Inspector <br />requiring 300 square feet of parking space per vehicle and the plans <br />submitted did not include this. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to deny the petition without prejudice. <br />Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />John Finn - (Advisement from February 14, 1990) <br />Members sitting: M. Makunas, W. Hanrahan, E. Govoni <br />The Board reviewed the revised plans which had been requested and <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved, to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Makunas seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Minutes - Mr. Govoni moved to accept the minutes of 2/28, 3/14, 3/28 <br />and 4/11. Mr. Makunas seconded. All agreed. <br />• Discussion - Members discussed the zoning articles to be presented at <br />Town Meeting and reviewed the explanations thereof. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to adjourn at 10:57.
