Mashpee Board of Appeals Minutes - May 23, 1990 .4. <br />Minutes - Mr. Friel moved to accept the addendum to the minutes of <br />the February 28, 1990 meeting. Mr. Hanrahan seconded. All agreed. <br />Other Business <br />Mr. Friel moved to arrange for an appointment with the Personnel <br />Board to rewrite the job description of the secretary. Mr. Makunas <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Makunas asked to amend the motion to read to have the <br />secretary provide a job description and to obtain job descriptions <br />from other Towns. Mr. Boyd suggested the Falmouth job description <br />would be most similar to Mashpee. Mr. Friel seconded. All agreed. <br />There was discussion of benefits for 15 - 19 hour Town employees <br />and members reviewed the memo to the Personnel Board from Ms. Hawver. <br />Mr. Friel moved to submit articles for Town Meeting to upgrade <br />the classification of the secretary and changes in the zoning by-laws. <br />Mr. Makunas seconded. All agreed. <br />Meetings - Ms. Hawver moved to cancel meetings on June 13 and <br />June 27. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. The next meeting will <br />be July 11, 1990. There was discussion of the possibility of a <br />40B hearing in which case the Board would call a special meeting <br />within 30 days, as required by law. <br />W. Bradford Wheatley - (continued from earlier in meeting) <br />Mr. Makunas moved to reopen the hearing. Mr. Hanrahan seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to deny with prejudice. Mr. Makunas seconded. <br />All agreed. Mr. Hanrahan stated that the basis of the denial was <br />that there was no hardship and objections of abutters. <br />Rules and Regulations - Mr. Friel reviewed suggested Rules and <br />proposed some changes. Board members agreed that more time would <br />be required to re -write and revise official rules and regulations. <br />Reappointment of Members - Members sitting: C. Hawver, M. Makunas <br />and J. Friel. <br />There was discussion of wording of a memo to the Selectmen on <br />the reappointment of members whose terms expire June 30, 1990. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to approve the memo, Mr. Friel seconded and all <br />agreed. <br />Mr. Friel moved to adjourn the meeting.
