n
U
rL
•
a
F I E L D S P O I N T
Ms. Cheryl Hawver, Chairperson
September 25, 1990
Page two
It is important to realize that this site is capable of
supporting commerical uses while meeting the specific
.requirements of the Mashpee Zoning By -Law. The problem with
this application is. that the particulars of this proposed use
and the demands created by it are greater than what can be
supported by the site. Alternate uses generating less demands
can work on this site. I feel it is the role of the Board to
protect the interests of the town specifically as it relates to
the potential impact upon circulation in and adjacent to this
particular site.
If the Board is to vote to support the application, we would
have to review the options available to us including the
potential of an appeal to protect our interests. I appreciate
the opportunity to provide comments on this application to the
Board. I trust that the Board will take these comments into
account when they review the facts associated with the
application. I apologize, in advance, for my inability to
.attend this evenings meeting.
T1S)incerely, oAl'
Douglas S. Storrs
Vice President
Enclosure
