a prominent place to his outer garment . <br /> E. No person licensed under this by-law <br /> shall engage in the activities described in <br /> paragraph 2 of this by-law in any manner as <br /> to impede foot or vehicular traffic along <br /> or to a public way or public sidewalk or <br /> any access road or driveway. No person <br /> while engaged in such activities shall <br /> remain stopped or standing in any one place <br /> or within lk200 feet thereof for more than <br /> fifteen (15) minutes, unless continously <br /> engaged in transactions. <br /> E <br /> F. No hawker or peddler shall sell or <br /> offer for sale any foods, wares or <br /> merchandise on any street of the Town <br /> within 500 feet of the Mashpee Middle <br /> School or grounds thereof on days when the <br /> public school is in session , nor shall any <br /> activity be engaged in on a street or <br /> sidewalk so as to impede the free flow of <br /> vehicular or pedestrian traffic . In <br /> addition , the Chief of Police or any of <br /> his agents may restrict sales in any <br /> location within the Town that is <br /> determined to be a safety hazzard to <br /> pedistrian or vehicular traffic . <br /> G. When a street or streets are closed to <br /> vehicular traffic within the Town for the <br /> purpose of a parade , no hawker or peddler c <br /> may conduct business within the curb lines <br /> of said streets during the hours the <br /> streets are closed. s <br /> H. The provisions of this section shall <br /> not apply to any person conducting a <br /> "garage sale" nor to any person who goes <br /> door-to-door to sell goods, wares, <br /> periodicals, or merchandise on behalf of <br /> any group or organization for any of the <br /> purposes described in Chapter 180 , Section <br /> 2, of the M.G.L. <br /> i <br /> I . Whoever violates the provisions of this <br /> section shall be punished by a fine of <br /> $300 ( three hundred dollars) and each day a Y <br /> violation occurs shall be considered a <br /> separate offense . <br /> (Amended at Annual Town meeting, May 6, f <br /> 1985, Approved by Attorney General <br /> September 23, 1985) <br /> i <br /> -59- <br />
