The owner or keeper mus+ obtain n from the veterinarian a vaccination certificate showing the duration of the immunity, or a notarized letter stating that certificate was issued or a metal rabies tag, bearing an expiration date indicating thatt certificate is still in effect . b) The Town Clerk: may grant an exemption fr the provisions requiring evidence of rabies vaccination if one of the following applies.; 1 . The dog is less than 6 months old. 2. The Board of Health has declared +.he d exempt for a specified period of time . In this case , the owner or keeper would need to obtain a veterinarian' certificate that innoculation is inadvisable beca.use of infirmity, other physical condition or regimen or therapy, and present this certificate to the board. ?. The dog is in transit or has been brou into the Commonwealth temporarily for the sole purpose Of showing in dog _•hot•,1s or. exhibitions. Section 4. 14.2 Duties of the Town Clerk 1 .
