(c ) The following design standards shall apply to <br /> streets which will carry 200- 1000 trips per <br /> day , and over 1000 trips per day ( including <br /> streets adjacent to the site of the developed <br /> parcels or portions of the OSID or providing <br /> access to the OSID from the roads listed in <br /> Subsection 9 . 3 . 1 ) : <br /> Trips 200- 1000 1000+ <br /> Design speed 30 m . p . h . 40 m. p .h . <br /> Intersection seperation 125 ft . 600 ft . <br /> Width of lanes 11 ft . 12 ft . <br /> Min . curve radius 250 ft . 460 ft . <br /> Maximum grade 9% 8% <br /> In addition , (a ) no on-street parking shall be <br /> allowed. on such streets unless eight (8) foot <br /> wide parking lanes are constructed , (b ) any <br /> gutters , beams or other drainage facilities <br /> shall be in addition to the required lane <br /> width , (c ) four (4 ) foot wide paved sidewalks <br /> shall be required on one side of streets <br /> having 500- 1000 trips per day , and on both <br /> sides of streets having over 1000 trips per <br /> day , (d ) where required by the Planning Board , <br /> bicycle facilities shall be constructed along <br /> such streets in the form of two five (5 ) foot <br /> wide paved shoulder bike lanes or an eight (8) <br /> foot wide paved bikeway , and (e ) pavement <br /> thickness and structure , sub-grade design , <br /> roadway drainage and other related design <br /> features shall require the approval of the <br /> Planning Board . <br /> 9 . 3 . 5 . 7 No drainage from streets , parking <br /> areas , roofs or other impervious surfaces may <br /> be directed into any natural water body , <br /> stream , river , marsh , bog or ' other wetland as <br /> heretofore defined . Drainage shall be to <br /> retention ponds , "M. D. C . - type" drains and <br /> similar facilities which allow for evaporation <br /> of hydrocarbons and related pollutants before <br /> percolation into the soil . Application of <br /> nitrogen and other fertilizers , as well as <br /> road salt , shall be minimized to reduce <br /> impacts on ground water quality . Any <br /> recommendations of the Board of' Health <br /> regarding drainage and ground water quality <br /> shall be incorporated into the conditions of <br /> any OSID special permit and into the <br /> subdivision review process of the Planning <br /> Board : <br /> 9 - 13 <br />
