SECTION 13 : ZONING AMENDMENTS <br /> 13 . 1 Any person desiring a zoning amendment shall <br /> propose it in writing to the Selectmen for <br /> insertion in the warrant of a town meeting , <br /> regular or special . <br /> 13 .2 If geographic change of a zoning boundary <br /> description be proposed , words of boundary <br /> description change for insertion in the <br /> warrant shall be accompanied by a brief <br /> written statement of the nature , extent and <br /> location in the town of the zoning map change <br /> proposed , together with three blackline prints <br /> of a diagram to scale showing the area to be <br /> changed , stating pertinent dimensions in feet . <br /> 13 . 3 On each zoning amendment proposal accepted by the <br /> Selectmen for insertion in a town meeting warrant , <br /> or on any such proposal inserted in a town meeting <br /> warrant by petition as provided by statute , the <br /> Planning Board shall hold a public hearing , of <br /> which notice shall be given by the Planning Board <br /> under the statutory zoning notice provisions . <br /> 13 . 4 The costs of publication and of mailing of <br /> notices of hearing and the costs of holding such <br /> zoning hearing and of making a public record of <br /> the proceedings at such hearing , i.f such a record <br /> be made , shall be paid by the Planning Board , but <br /> the Planning Board may determine whether a fee to <br /> cover such` costs shall be required of zoning <br /> amendment proponents . <br /> I <br /> i <br /> 13 - <br />
