TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> e TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> X98 DECISION <br /> Rei Petition of Costa's Fuel Oil Inc. for a Variance <br /> Case 0-81-7-018 <br /> A petition was filed by Costa's Fuel Oil Inc., of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance under Section 6.3, F-1 of the Land Use <br /> Regulations, for permission to operate a gasoline service station and <br /> fuel oil business, on property located on Route 28, 7/10 of a mile <br /> south of the Mashpee Rotary. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General laws, Chapter 40A. Notice was also given by <br /> publishing in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation <br /> in the Town of Mashpee, on June 16, 1981 and June 23, 1981, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, July 19 1981 at 8x30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> i <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout <br /> v <br /> Robert J. Houle, Michael Makunas, John Slavinsky. <br /> Attorney Gerald Sacks, representing Costa's Fuel Oil, Inc. <br /> made the presentation to the Board, explaining the proposed plans to <br /> operate a gasoline service station, and fuel oil business on the premises. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board voted two (2) in <br /> favor, and one (1) in opposition of granting the application for a variance, <br /> therefore the application is denied. <br /> I <br />
