Hyannis, Massachusetts <br /> and Donald Forte of Centerville, Massachusetts for a Special Permit <br /> for permission to sell and/or rent televisions, radios, video and/or <br /> audio tapes and other storage media equipment for the use herein <br /> --Zoferred---to-goods— -n--addz--t1.on-they-request-permiss-ion-to--seit-and/ - <br /> or rent tapes with any kind of classification or rating, .the majority <br /> of the business will be family oriented on property located at Deer <br /> Crossing, Bldg. D, Shop 23 $, Route 28, Mashpee , Massachusetts, <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massach= <br /> usetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in <br /> the Town of Mashpee on March 27, 1985 and April 3 , 1985 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, April 10, 1985, at 7 , 30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughouti Manuel Costa, Michael Makunas and William Hanrahan. <br /> Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented Mr. Mass and Mr. Forte on <br /> .this :natter. He explained they would be renting the space above the <br /> bank with access to the premises from the upper parking lot. This <br /> would be a video store where :-the various video equipment will ,be <br /> available for both sale and lease as well as the leasing of films. <br /> Mr. Costa asked how they would display the X-rated material: <br /> Mr. Kirrane told the Board that it would not be displayed but 'a loose <br /> leaf binder would be made available with proof .of age.
