MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Chop'n Block for a Special Permit Case /ISP-87-02-012 <br /> A Petition was filed by Chop'n Block of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to include products such as fire- <br /> wood, landscape supplies, bark mulch, wood chips, hardware, wood & <br /> coal stoves and water filters in a C-2 Zoning District on property <br /> located on Route 130, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on January 28 & .February 4, 1987, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, February 11, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Thomas Sexton. <br /> The Applicant, through his counsel, advised the Board that the <br /> Applicant has been operating a retail business in this C-2 Zoning <br /> District for approximately ten (10) years.
