Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted una- nimously on March 11, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as'requested subject to the following conditions:p 1. Retail business shall be confined to the sale of firewood, wood/coal stoves with accessory hardware items-, garden shop type hardware items, including wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, hoses, etc. , landscape materials, including woodchips, bark mulch, loam, sod, railroad ties, bluestone, garden landscape timbers and like items, also including the sale of schrubbery, and water filters to be used in conjunction with typical water well supply systems. 2. No dimensional lumber shall be milled or sold on the property. 3. Applicant is to significantly improve the property to provide for screening of materials from Route 130 and will provide a significant amount of landscaping to beautify the property. 4. A Landscaping Bond shall be posted in the agreed amount of Francisco Tavares Landscaping, Inc. subject to a review by the Board of Appeals on the agreed amount. 5. This Special Permit shall be referenced to plans on file. The proposed activity is permitted under the aforementioned pro- visions of the Zoning By-Laws for the Town of Mashpee and the Board con- cludes that the conduct of this business is in harmony with similarly permitted uses in this C-2 Zoning District, and that the use will not be detrimental to the neighborhood or derogate from the intent -of the Zoning By-Law.
