l BOARD OF 5PEAL
P. O. BOX 1108
hABLE Ld MASHPEE, MA 02649
DECISION
FOR A VARIANCE
RE: South Cape Industrial Park for a Variance Case #V-88-05-039
(owner on record; Patrick M. Crowley, Tr. )
A Petition was filed by South Cape Industrial Park of Hyannis,
Massachusetts for a Variance for permission to vary the minimum lot
frontage requirements in a I-1 Zoning District on property located
on lot 24 Industrial Drive, (map 88, parcel 24) , Mashpee, Massachusetts.
Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts
General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the
Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town
of Mashpee on May 11 & 18, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall
on Wednesday, May 25, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following
members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout:
William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Cheryl Hawver.
The Board was informed that when the lot was purchased by the
Applicant a surveying error was discovered. The Board ascertained the
hardship was not self-imposed and found the granting of this Variance
would not be a detriment to the area nor derogate from the intent of
the By-Laws.
