L'k <br /> 'Dear Members of the Board. ;; <br /> It is my understanding that on May 26, 1988, the Board of Appeals <br /> 'recorded its decision with the ,Town. Clerk relative' 'to the issuance <br /> of a dock . permit on . property located at Lot 1089 o,Poponesset ''Island <br /> "+ <br /> -Road. The applicant has been unable to obtain all-additional permits <br /> required to construct. that dock, .;.from both ' the local , Conservation <br /> .Commission and .the appropriate state and federal 'authorities . and <br /> therefore. requests that the Board extend the life of the Special ;Permit <br /> for the initial period of one year during which time the Bradshaws <br /> will continue to pursue their efforts to obtain the additional permits <br /> required in order to construct the dock. <br /> I refer the Board to Section 174-24C(8) with reference to the <br /> Y authority for the grant of an extension to the life of a Special <br /> Permit upon the showing of good cause. I would suggest to the Board <br /> that the applicant's inability to obtain the appropriate permits from <br /> the Conservation Commission and the subsequent approvals from state <br /> and federal authorities is evidence of good cause which would permit <br /> the Board to act favorably upon this request. <br /> I would be happy to appear before the Board at its earliest <br />
