MA 02649 BOARD OF APPEALS DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT RE: John Mikutowicz for a Special Permit SP-90-90 A Petition was filed by John Mikutowicz of Sandwich, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Sections 174-25.D. 1,2,3,4,5; 174-25.G. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10 and 174-25.H.6 of the Zoning By-laws to allow for partial use of property by AGM Marine Contracts to store and. maintain equipment and use of office space and allow for leasing of unused spaced for multiple uses in an I-1 zoning district on property located at 30 Echo Road (Map 19, Block 1) Mashpee, Massachusetts. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of. general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on November 12 and November 19, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, November 28, 1990 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael A. Makunas, John J. Friel and B. Thomas Christian. James Kraskouskas represented the applicant. He explained that the property had been foreclosed and that AGM Marine was preparing to purchase it with the intention of using part of the building and leasing the remainder. Mr. Kraskouskas stated that the site would be used for work on dock, pier and boat ramp construction and the parking of cranes and trucks. Elias McQuaid, Board of Health Agent, stated that the Board of Health would require a septic upgrade and water tests. He said that AGM would be required to maintain a contract for the disposal of waste motor oil.and that maintenance of vehicles must be done within the building, acd on-site employees would be limited to 24.
