DOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27, 1990 Present: Selectman Carter, Selectman Gottlieb, Selectman Hanson, Selectman Jacobson, Selectman Lawrence Executive Secretary Kevin J. Harrington Guests: Morris Kirsner, Tom Cahir, Nicholas Vontzalides, Paul Ott, Ernest Virgilio, Ed Nickerson The Meeting was Called to Order by Selectman Jacobson at 6:36 P.M. The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the minutes of December 17, 1990. Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. Selectman. Jacobson asked that the minutes be amended to reflect on page 3 involving the New Seabury Limited Partnership that Selectman Gottlieb has stepped down for the special permit hearing. Selectman Jacobson asked that the minutes be amended to reflect on page 4 at the next scheduled meeting on Thursday, December the 27th upon Special Town Meeting approval to be added before the Board will execute the agreement concerning South Cape Beach. The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the minutes of December 17, 1990 with the above amendments. Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. The Board votes in favor of the approval of past minutes. APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: 6:39 p.m. Housmng Authority re: Appointment of Member: Chairman Eduward Nickerson of the Mashpee Housing Authority was present to support the application 6f Mrs. Marie Stone who would be replacing Mrs. Patricia Hicks to sit on the Board of the Mashpee Housing Authority. The Board of Commissioners have also voted their support. Mrs. Stone is interested in acting on the Housing Authority to fill the seat until MiEy. At that time, she will run for the position full time. The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to appoint Mrs. Marie Stone to service the Mashpee Housing Authority until the date of the Annual Town Election in May. Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. The 'Board votes in favor. The vote is 4-0. 6:43 p.m. South Cape Beach Agreement: Selectman Jacobson reviewed the South Cape Beach agreement and latest two drafts relative to Great Oak Road and the Beach Agreement. Relative to the Beach Agreement, the only change was the insertion date of 1995 for a full five years as voted. Regarding the Great Oak Road, the only change requested by the Town on page one, #1 is the rewording to include the reconstruction report dated May 3r 1990. This report was prepared by Ernest Virgilio on the reconstruction of the road.
