BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 5 <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, DECEMBER 279 1990 <br /> Town Counsel Appointments: <br /> Mr. Reardon has proposed to change his schedule from Thursday <br /> afternoons to Tuesday afternoons. In order to make Counsel' s timet{ <br /> more value it is anticipated the change would allow for greater and <br /> more timely input to these boards prior to their meetings. <br /> Upon the Selectmen' s approval, Counsel would like the effective <br /> change for Tuesday, January 8, 1990. Kevin Harrington agrees with <br /> the request. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to change Town Counsel' s <br /> schedule from Thursday afternoons to Tuesday afternoons commencing <br /> on Tuesday, January 8, 1991. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb seconded the motion. The vote is unanimous <br /> with the Board. <br /> Letter to Cape Cod Commission: <br /> Kevin Harrington has met with the Planning Board last week. It <br /> was suggested to draft a letter to the Commission regarding local <br /> funding to assist in the development of a local comprehensive plan. <br /> It has been suggested that between $150, 000<.andl, $2O0, 000is <br /> available for one or two projects. With Mashpee' s growth, the Planning <br /> Board has strongly endorsed Mashpee to be considered. <br /> The Board is in agreement. Selectman Jacobson suggests the <br /> minutes be included in the letter to the Commission. <br /> SeMass Tonnage Commitment: <br /> The Board is in agreement with the Board of Health' s recommendation <br /> that the minimum tonnage commitment should be set at 6500 tons. <br /> New Seabury Limited Partnership Special Permit: <br /> The Board of Selectmen have decided to wait for further explanation <br /> from Town Counsel concerning the special permit resolution. <br /> Evaluation of Executive Secretary: <br /> The Board has agreed for Selectman Carter to fill out Mr. Harrington' <br /> evaluation form in pencil and review as the last item in Executive <br /> Session at the next scheduled meeting. The report is due in mid January. <br /> Adjournment: <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to adjourn the meeting. <br /> The Board will go into Executive Session to discuss collective bargain- <br /> ing and will not resume Regular Session. <br /> Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion.
