Page 2 <br /> received copies of the contracts. No they have not received <br /> copies. <br /> Ms. King also mentioned that the Board of Health secretary also <br /> seems to be an issue. Her job description includes acting as board <br /> secretary to the Health Department. Apparently she is charging the <br /> Town for these hours. <br /> The Committee discussed the fact that this Town Meeting should not <br /> be used to reclassify positions. Mr. Goggin also inquired about <br /> the proposal to pro rate benefits. Ms. King felt that it was very <br /> contract generous. Ms. King asked the Committee if they wished to <br /> meet with the Executive Secretary to discuss these issues? The <br /> Committee agreed that they would like to also meet with the Board <br /> of Selectmen. The Committee agreed to meet again next Tuesday. It <br /> was asked that a letter be sent inviting Mr. Whritenour and the <br /> Selectmen to attend. It was brought up that the Finance Committee <br /> had never received the Executive Session Minutes of June 15th. at <br /> that meeting the Finance Committee had agreed to a 4%, 3% and 2% <br /> total increase. Mr. Bacigalupi also mentioned that the key needed <br /> to be obtained in order to open the cabinet which contains the <br /> video equipment. <br /> Warrant <br /> There were certain articles which the Finance Committee, at its <br /> previous meeting, had tabled for further discussion. These were <br /> articles 1, 3 , 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19. Attached please <br /> find a summary of the articles contained in the Warrant with the <br /> Committee's recommendations. <br /> Correspondence <br /> Ms. King asked whether the Committee wished to go to press with a <br /> copy of a letter received by Town Counsel which was sent to the <br /> Plaintiff in the case regarding the Open Meeting Law (attached)? <br /> There was also a letter indicating changes in the Open Meeting Law. <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi requested that a letter be sent to the Town Clerk <br /> asking for updated Open Meeting Law packets (attached) . <br /> Mr. Whritenour forwarded a copy of a letter of interest from <br /> Stephen Maloney, as well as his resume. Mr. Maloney is interested <br /> in either serving on the Finance Committee or as a designee to the <br /> Capital Improvement Committee. <br /> Other Business <br /> Ms. King asked the Committee to think about what and if they would <br /> like to publish for Town Meeting. <br /> The Committee spoke about taking money from Stabilization to lower <br />
