Mr. Golub indicated that the road at the high <br /> school's intersection does need to be discussed. The cost is <br /> approximately $358,000 . It was Mr. Golub's understanding that it <br /> would be paid from bonding and not from the Capital Improvement <br /> Committee. <br /> Mew Member Appointment <br /> Sid Golub Motioned to appoint Mike Kumin to the Finance Committee <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi seconded the Motion. Mr. Bacigalupi stated, <br /> however, that Mr. Kumin also sits on the Capital Improvement <br /> Committee. Mr. Kumin or Mr. Golub would need to resign from the <br /> CIP. Mr. Golub mentioned that he would like to revise the CIP. <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi recommends his appointment, but it would be pending <br /> his resignation from the CIP. Mr. Golub withdrew his Motion. Mr. <br /> Bacigalupi Motioned to appoint Mr. Kumin to the Finance Committee, <br /> pending his resignation from the Capital Improvement Committee. <br /> Mr. Goggin seconded the Motion and .members approved 4-0. Ms. King <br /> indicated that she would contact Mr. Whritenour regarding their <br /> appointment. <br /> Correspondence <br /> The Finance Committee received from the Executive Secretary his <br /> FY1997 budget materials. They also received a letter from John <br /> Doherty, Board of Health, explaining that the Town has made <br /> arrangements with CCS World of Mashpee to establish a Home Page on <br /> the World Wide Web. <br /> Finance Committee Report and Goals <br /> Mr. Bacigalupi provided copies for members and asked that they <br /> review for their next scheduled meeting. He explained that he did <br /> not get a chance to review fiscal facts. <br /> Free Cash <br /> Mr. Golub asked if they wanted to write a letter indicating how <br /> much money should be placed from Free Cash into Stabilization? Ms. <br /> King said that they would move all money from Free Cash to <br /> Stabilization and that it would happen at the Special Town Meeting. <br /> Reserve .Fund Transfer Request <br /> Ms. King mentioned that she had thought the Board of Health would <br /> be in attendance in regard to their request. They are asking that <br /> $5,665 be placed into their Water Account .to provide public water <br />
