' 11 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 18, 2000 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Acceptance of Town Cemetery Bid: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to accept the bid from Littleton <br /> Environmental Services, Inc. for the construction of Phase I of the <br /> Town Cemetery for the sum of$306,500 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> It was noted that additional survey work is necessary at the cemetery site <br /> prior to the clearing of the land. A clerk of the works was also <br /> recommended for employment on a part-time basis to ensure project <br /> success. <br /> The Selectmen agreed to review the requirements for the survey bid to <br /> ensure all facets of construction and management is contained in the bid <br /> package. The proponents of BSC will be requested to copy all pertinent <br /> data from previous work to the Town for a detailed review. <br /> MMR ISSUES: <br /> At the last meeting held in Falmouth, the Department of the Army <br /> received public comment. A summary of key comments will be <br /> forwarded to the full Board of Selectmen. An additional meeting will be <br /> held on January 6, 2001 to solicit further comment. <br />
