Issues <br /> relative to the potential cost of each lot was discussed. <br /> As noted in section VIII. Service Charges and Payments, Mr. Morgan <br /> indicated in response that the fee structure has not been set due to <br /> economics. <br /> Ms. Hicks also stated that flags should be allowed to be placed on all <br /> veterans' grave sites. The placement of flowers should not be limited as <br /> long as the site is maintained. The Cemetery Commission should not have <br /> the right to designate the type and design of stone to be placed at a <br /> gravesite, and a person should not be discriminated against if they are <br /> unable to afford the fee structure of the cemetery. Ms. Hicks stated that <br /> the Cemetery Rules & Regulations is not considered a legal document <br /> unless the fee structure is placed in the regulations. <br /> Michael Forde, Mashpee resident and high school teacher made the <br /> following recommendations; <br /> Section IV. Interment Procedure: (J) Equipment <br /> Amend to consider an emergency situation—equipment breakdown <br /> Section V. Arrangements for Funerals and Interments: (C) <br /> Amend a telegraphed interment authorization <br /> Section VII. Instructions to Lot Holders & Lot Holders Rights: (D) <br /> No coping, curbing... <br /> The proposal would not apply to existing enclosures <br /> (G) Interment of non-resident members of a Mashpee family <br /> Suggestion for terms of appeals process <br /> Section X1.
