1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> August 19, 2002 <br /> Present: Selectman Taylor,Selectman Leveille, Selectman Marsters, <br /> Selectman Green, Selectman Cahalan <br /> Town Administrator Joyce Mason' <br /> Assistant Town Administrator James Man <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6:30 p.m <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Monday, August 5 2002 Regular and Executive Sessions: <br /> Motion made by Selectman-Cahalane to approve the Regular and- <br /> Executive <br /> nd Executive Session minutes of Monday;August 5,2002as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters:. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Monday, August 12, 200-2 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman:Cahalan to;approve the Regular Session <br /> minutes of Monday,August 12,2002as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Leveille abstained. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Three Mashpee students participating-in the summer video program were <br /> introduced by Catherine Laurent, Assistant Director of Public Works to <br /> the Board of Selectmenr Their project, short films on recycling will be <br /> shown on the local cable access channel and will be reviewed in the <br /> school system in conjunction with the Town's recycling programs: <br /> Jerry Blumengarten, Great Neck Road South requested the Selectmen <br /> consider placing signage on Route 28 reflecting the hours of the Transfer <br /> Station. He also suggested that a tum lane on Route 28 towards Hyannis <br /> be considered to alleviate traffic congestion. <br />
