10 <br /> <br />Board of Selectmen <br />Minutes <br />November 28, 2016 <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Review and adoption of Ambulance Billing Policy 053: <br /> <br />As requested by the Board of Selectmen, the Ambulance Billing Policy was further defined with input <br />from the Assistant Town Manager, the Financial Team and Fire Chief. With the Board’s approval, the <br />revised policy will take effect on this date. <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman O’Hara to adopt Ambulance Billing Policy 053 effective November 28, <br />2016. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman O’Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> <br />It was noted the Board of Selectmen at their November 14, 2016 meeting adopted the new fee structure <br />for Ambulance Transports. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Review and adoption of Investment Policy 067: <br /> <br />Craig Mayen, Treasurer/Tax Collector was in attendance to recommend the Board adopted Investment <br />Policy 067 relative to the investment of general funds, special revenue funds, and capital project funds. <br />Mr. Mayen indicated this practice is recommended by the Town Auditors and by Standard and Poor’s. <br />There are no changes to the current objectives and the processes that are presently being adhered to by <br />the Town of Mashpee. Adoption of this policy will formalize the process and strengthen the Town’s <br />review by the bond rating agencies. <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to adopt Investment Policy 067 as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman O’Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, none <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
