195 <br />Annual Town Meeting Warrant, March 1, 1971 (cont'd) <br />Article .37. To see if the Town will vote to add the following to the <br />Town By-laws, to be inserted after section three Article III, Chapter III, <br />as amended: <br />Section 4. Any other by-law notwithstanding and subject to the further <br />provisions herein, no more than one travel trailer may be stored on any lot <br />' or parcel of land in any zone of• the town. A travel trailer is defined as a <br />vehicle on wheels. having no motive power of its own, designed to be towed <br />by a motor vehicle, and having facilities for temporary living quarters. Said <br />travel trailer may not be used for human habitation while so stored and must <br />be stored behind the front set -back line of any building or structure on the <br />parcel or lot. If contiguous parcels or lots of land are owned by the same <br />owner, only one travel trailer may be stored on such contiguous parcels or <br />lots. Before a travel trailer is stored as herein provided, a permit must <br />be obtained\from the Board of Selectmen who must find that such storage <br />does not substantially derogate from the zoning by-laws, or materially <br />affect the character of the reiehbo.rhood. Such a permit must be renewed <br />annually and the fee thereforv'shall be two($2.00) Dollars. <br />Any person storing or using a travel trailer in violation of this <br />by-law may be fined up to Fifty ($50.00) Dollars for each offense. Each day's <br />storage or use may be considered a separate offense. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be amended to <br />strike out "and the fee therefor shall be two ($2,00) Dollars." A vote. <br />Motion made and seconded that article be accepted as amended. A unanimous <br />vote. <br />Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Dog Fund <br />the amount of $617.93 to Mashpee Library Fund or take any other action thereon. <br />' Action: Motion made and seconded that article be amended to read: <br />To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Dog Fund <br />the amount of $617.93 to Mashpee Library Expense'Account <br />or take any other action thereon. A vote. <br />Motion made and seconded that article be accepted as amended. <br />A unanimous vote. <br />Article 39. To see if the Town will vote to creat the post of Wildlife <br />Officer to be appointed by the Board of Selectmen. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be accepted as read. A vote. <br />Article 40. To see if the Town will. vote to raise and appropriate the sum <br />of $1,200 for expenses of the Wildlife Officer. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be accepted as read. <br />A unanimous vote. <br />Article 41. To act on any other business that may legally come before <br />said meeting: <br />And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting up attested copies <br />thereof, one at the Town Hall, one at the Post Office, and one each on the <br />bulletin boards, seven days at least before said meeting. <br />1 <br />
