388 Special Town Meeting (Art. 12 continued) Ma.- 2, 1977 <br />6. Upon the granting of such Special Permits, the &oning Board <br />of Appeals, shall require that the Town of Mashpee shall maintain <br />a record of all Speceal Permit actions, including justification for <br />their issuance and report such Special Permits issued in its annual <br />report to the Flood Insurance Administrator in accordance with the <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development guidelines. <br />C:v <br />7. Notwithstanding the applicable provisions of the Massachusetts <br />Uniform Building Code within Zones Al -30 for new mobile home parks <br />and mobile home subdivisions, and for existing mobile home parks and <br />mobilehome subdivisions where the repair, reconstruction or improvement <br />of the streets, utilities and pads equals or exceeds 50% of thi3 <br />value of the streets, utilities and pads before the repair, <br />reconstruction or improvement has commenced, (i) lots are to be elevate' <br />on compacted fill or on pilings sevthat the lowest floor of the <br />mobile home will be at or above the base flood level, (ii) adequate <br />surface drainage and access for a hauler must be provided, and, <br />(iii) in the instance of elevation on pilings, lots must be large <br />enough to permit steps, piling foundations must be placed instable <br />soil no more than 10 feet apart, and reinforcement must be provided <br />for pilings more than 6 feet above the ground level. <br />8. Notwithstanding the applicable provisions of the Massachusetts <br />Uniform Building Code in all Mobile homes to be placed within Zones <br />Al -30, but not into a mobile home park or mobile home sub -division: <br />1. Lots must be elevated on compacted fill or on pilings so <br />that the lowest floor of the mobile home willbe at or above <br />the base flood level. <br />2. Adequate surface drainahe and access for a hauler must be <br />provided. <br />3. In the instance of elevation on pilings, lots must be <br />large enough to permit steps, piling foundations must be placed in <br />stable soil no more than 10 feet apart, and reinforcemre t <br />must be provided for piers more than 6 feet above ground level. <br />9. The Zoning Board of Appeals may grant a Special Permit for the , <br />reconstruction, rehabilitation or restoration of structures listed <br />on the National Register of Historic Places or the State Inventory <br />of Historic Places, without regard to the procedures set forth in <br />Section 4 above. <br />10. Where these flood area provisions impose greater or lesser <br />restrictions or requirements than those of other applicable bylaws <br />or regulations, the more restrictive shall apply. <br />ACTION: Moved and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 12. <br />Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 13.
