To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate or take from available funds the sum of•$8,195.00 to be <br />applied to the Highway Department Expense Account for the purpose <br />of renting a rubber tire front end loader and other equipment, or <br />take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 23 to <br />read: "...to transfer from Antirecessional Fiscal Assistance <br />Title II funds the sum of $3,830.00 to be applied to ... etc." <br />Motion carried. ' <br />ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate or take from available funds the sum of $3,000.00 to be <br />applied to the Highway Department Expense Account to pay for <br />emergency repairs to the Department's Allis Chalmer rubber tire <br />front end loader or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 24 to <br />read: ..to transfer from Antirecession Fiscal Assistance <br />Title II funds the sum of $3,000.00 to be ... etc." Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />ARTICLE 25. To see if the Town will vote to take from Anti - <br />recession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $250.00; <br />said sum to be applied to the Museum Wage Account, or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 25 be post- <br />poned indefinitely. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 26. To see if the Town will vote to rescind Chapter III, , <br />Article VII, Section 1A of the Mashpee Town Bylaws: "The use of <br />boats with engines in excess of forty-five horsepower on John's <br />Pond and Ashumet Pond shall be prohibited." <br />In place of this rescinded article, we propose the firm <br />enforcement of all safety regulations and Town Bylaws as they <br />relate to the lakes and ponds of Mashpee, or take any other action <br />thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 26 be accepted <br />as read. Motion carried. For, 147 and opposed, 128. Motion <br />carried. <br />ARTICLE 27.
