To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take from available funds the sum of•$8,195.00 to be applied to the Highway Department Expense Account for the purpose of renting a rubber tire front end loader and other equipment, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 23 to read: "...to transfer from Antirecessional Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $3,830.00 to be applied to ... etc." Motion carried. ' ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take from available funds the sum of $3,000.00 to be applied to the Highway Department Expense Account to pay for emergency repairs to the Department's Allis Chalmer rubber tire front end loader or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 24 to read: ..to transfer from Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $3,000.00 to be ... etc." Motion carried unanimously. ARTICLE 25. To see if the Town will vote to take from Anti - recession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $250.00; said sum to be applied to the Museum Wage Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 25 be post- poned indefinitely. Motion carried. ARTICLE 26. To see if the Town will vote to rescind Chapter III, , Article VII, Section 1A of the Mashpee Town Bylaws: "The use of boats with engines in excess of forty-five horsepower on John's Pond and Ashumet Pond shall be prohibited." In place of this rescinded article, we propose the firm enforcement of all safety regulations and Town Bylaws as they relate to the lakes and ponds of Mashpee, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 26 be accepted as read. Motion carried. For, 147 and opposed, 128. Motion carried. ARTICLE 27.
