Special Town Meeting Page 4 November 2, 1977 ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 15 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 16: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from Revenue Sharing the sum of $275.00 for materials to repair the herring run at Santuit Pond with a new Playwood Denil fish ladder, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 16 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to take from avail- able funds the sum of $1,300.00 for the purchase of a boat and motor for use by the Shellfish Department and Harbormaster for the purpose of patrolling and propagating, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 17 be amended to read: "the sum of $1,300.00 be taken from the municipal equipment account for the purchase of...etc." Motion carried. ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate or vote to transfer from available funds the sum of $26,500.00 for the Certification Costs of the School Bonding Issue, or take any other action hereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to "raise and appro- priate $26,500.00 for... etc." Motion carried. ' ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take from available funds the sum of $469.44, said amount to be added to the Deputy Chief of Police Salary Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 19 to read: "to take from Anti -Recession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $469.00,... etc." Motion carried. ARTICLE 20. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take from available funds the sum of $760.00 for the purchase of one portable radio, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 20 to read: ..to transfer from the Municipal Equipment Account the sum of $475.00 for the purchase... etc." Motion carried. ARTICLE 21. To see if the Town will transfer from Antirecession Fiscal Assistance title II funds the sum of $1,125.00 to be applied to the Board of Registrar's Wage Account for a part- time Clerk/Typist, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 21 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 22. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take from available funds the sum of $4,000.00 to be applied to the Fire Department Expense Account for the purpose of repairing. the Department's two brush breakers, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Article 22 amended to read: "...take from Revenue Sharing Account the sum of $3,600.00 to be applied... etc." Motion carried.
