I" Special Town Meeting Page 3 November 2, 1977 Article 8 continued. adjusted salary and wage obligations of the new contract between the Town of Mashpee and the Mashpee Firefighters Association, to transfer from Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $2,000 to meet the adjusted personal equipment requirement of said contract and to transfer from Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $1,000 to meet the tuition reimbursement requirement of said contract for the fiscal year July 1, 1977 to June 30, 1978." Motion carried unanimously. ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from avail- able funds the sum of $160.00 to be applied to the Rental Bond Copy Machine Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to table Article 9. Motion carried. ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will vote to petition the General Court for authorization for the Town to pay from available funds the sum of $440.00 to reimburse Special Police Officer Henry Godleski for damages incurred to his boat because of his services rendered in patrolling John's Pond, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to delete the words "from' available funds". Passed by unanimous vote. ARTICLE 11. To see if the Town will vote to take from Revenue Sharing the sum of $1,500.00; said money to pay for the printing and mailing of an informational bulletin to be mailed to all inhab- itants and/or taxpayers of the Town prior to the end of the calendar year, 1977, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to table Article 11. Motion carried. ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Revenue Sharing Account the sum of $ to furnish and in- stall a commercial type indoor/outdoor carpet in the Lobby of the Town Hall, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to Indefinitely Postpone Article 12. Motion carried. ARTICLE 13. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the expen- diture of $2,000.00 received from CETA Grant, Title VI, for the position of Administrative Coordinators, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 13 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate or take $ from available funds to provide for an hydrological study of the Sanitary Landfill area as required by State Law, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 14 be in- definitely postponed. Motion carried. ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Revenue Sharing Account the sum of $5,000.00 for expenses for emergency projects for the CETA Highway Safety and Community Improvement Program, or take any other action thereon.
