40' 3 Special Town Meeting Page 2 November 2, 1977 in Article II, Section 3, of this Chapter of the Bylaws anywhere within the limits of the Town of Mashpee between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. except to the extent that such is allowed by Article II, Section 3, of this Chapter of the Bylaws. Any person violating the pro- visions of this Bylaw shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $50.00 for each offense." ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 4 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter III, Article VI, of the Bylaws of the Town by adopting the follow- ing paragraph as Section 3 thereof, or take any other action with respect thereto: "Section 2. No Motorized Vehicles on Beaches. All motor- ized vehicles including but not limited to all over -sand dune buggies, beach buggies, motorcycles, motorized bicycles and trailers as defined in Article II•, Section 3 of this Chapter of the Bylaws are prohibited at all times from all banks, beaches, dunes and shores bordering on the ocean or any bay, creek, river, stream, pond, marsh, and lake in the Town of Mashpee except for emergency vehicles and official vehicles of the Town or Common- wealth. Any person violating the provisions of this Bylaw should be punished by a fine not to exceed $50.00 for each offense." ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 5 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ' ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Mashpee Bylaws, Chapter II, Article IV, Section 1, by deleting the word "March", and substituting the word "June" and by deleting the word "April" and substituting the word "July", or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 6 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 7: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Mashpee Bylaws, Chapter II, Article XV, Transportation Regulations, Section 2 by adding to the first sentence following the words, "official business connected with the duties of his office", the words "as approved by the Board of Selectmen", and by de- leting in the first sentence following the words "he shall be entitled to receive", the word "pay" and substituting therefor the word "reimbursement" and by deleting in the second sentence the number "12" and substituting therefor the number "18", or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 7 to read "14" instead of "18". Motion carried. ' ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from ,the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $ to meet the adjusted salary obligations'of the new contract between the Town of Mashpee and the Mashpee Firefighters Asso- ciation and to take from available funds the sum of $ to meet th4 adjusted personal equipment requirement of the new contract for the fiscal year July 1, 1977, to June 30, 1978, or take any other action thereon.
