40' 3 <br />Special Town Meeting Page 2 November 2, 1977 <br />in Article II, Section 3, of this Chapter of the Bylaws <br />anywhere within the limits of the Town of Mashpee between <br />the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. except to the extent <br />that such is allowed by Article II, Section 3, of this <br />Chapter of the Bylaws. Any person violating the pro- <br />visions of this Bylaw shall be punished by a fine not to <br />exceed $50.00 for each offense." <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 4 be accepted <br />as read. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter III, <br />Article VI, of the Bylaws of the Town by adopting the follow- <br />ing paragraph as Section 3 thereof, or take any other action <br />with respect thereto: <br />"Section 2. No Motorized Vehicles on Beaches. All motor- <br />ized vehicles including but not limited to all over -sand <br />dune buggies, beach buggies, motorcycles, motorized <br />bicycles and trailers as defined in Article II•, Section 3 <br />of this Chapter of the Bylaws are prohibited at all times <br />from all banks, beaches, dunes and shores bordering on <br />the ocean or any bay, creek, river, stream, pond, marsh, <br />and lake in the Town of Mashpee except for emergency <br />vehicles and official vehicles of the Town or Common- <br />wealth. Any person violating the provisions of this <br />Bylaw should be punished by a fine not to exceed $50.00 <br />for each offense." <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 5 be accepted <br />as read. Motion carried. <br />' ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Mashpee <br />Bylaws, Chapter II, Article IV, Section 1, by deleting the <br />word "March", and substituting the word "June" and by deleting <br />the word "April" and substituting the word "July", or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 6 be accepted <br />as read. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 7: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Mashpee <br />Bylaws, Chapter II, Article XV, Transportation Regulations, <br />Section 2 by adding to the first sentence following the words, <br />"official business connected with the duties of his office", <br />the words "as approved by the Board of Selectmen", and by de- <br />leting in the first sentence following the words "he shall be <br />entitled to receive", the word "pay" and substituting therefor <br />the word "reimbursement" and by deleting in the second sentence <br />the number "12" and substituting therefor the number "18", or <br />take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 7 to <br />read "14" instead of "18". Motion carried. <br />' ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from ,the <br />Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $ <br />to meet the adjusted salary obligations'of the new contract <br />between the Town of Mashpee and the Mashpee Firefighters Asso- <br />ciation and to take from available funds the sum of $ to <br />meet th4 adjusted personal equipment requirement of the new <br />contract for the fiscal year July 1, 1977, to June 30, 1978, or <br />take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 8 as <br />amended: "...the Town will vote to transfer from Antirecession <br />Fiscal Assistance Title II Funds the sum of $15,500 to meet the <br />
