409 <br />TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT - PART TWO <br />November 2, 1977 <br />THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS <br />Barnstable, ss: <br />To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are <br />hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of the <br />Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to <br />meet at the Queen of All Saints Church, Great Neck Road, <br />Mashpee, on Wednesday, November 2, 1977, at seven o'clock, <br />p.m., for the following purposes: <br />This meeting was the second meeting held the evening of <br />November 2, 1977. The meeting reopened at 8:46 p.m. to act on <br />the Articles contained in the following Warrant: <br />ARTICLE 1: To see if the Town will transfer from the Revenue <br />Sharing Account the sum of $ and to raise and appro- <br />priate the sum of $ to be transferred to the Legal and <br />Engineering Account or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 1 to <br />read: To see if the Town will transfer from the Revenue <br />Sharing Account the sum of $50,000 and to transfer from the <br />Overlay Surplus Account the sum of $30,000 to be transferred <br />to the Legal and Engineering Account or take any other action <br />thereon. Motion carried. ' <br />' ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to rescind the action <br />taken at the May 5, 1976 Annual Town Meeting, Article 89: <br />"To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br />or take from available funds, or take from the Stabili- <br />zation Fund the sum of $ for site work and con- <br />struction of the Highway Department facility, or take <br />-, any other action thereon." <br />Submitted by the Municipal Site & Building Needs Committee <br />ACTION: To take from the Stabilization Fund the sum of <br />$100,000.00 to construct a Highway Department Facility. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 2 as <br />read. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote .to transfer from the <br />Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of <br />$6,874.60 to meet the obligation of the additional 53rd payroll <br />week for the Town employees for the fiscal year 1977/78 or take <br />any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 3 as <br />read. Motion carried. <br />ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- <br />priate an additional sum of money to be applied to the Town <br />Insurance Account or take any other action thereon. <br />ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 4 to <br />read: "...to transfer the sum of $2,500 from the Antirecession <br />Fiscal Assistance Title II Fund."
