409 TOWN OF MASHPEE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT - PART TWO November 2, 1977 THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS Barnstable, ss: To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at the Queen of All Saints Church, Great Neck Road, Mashpee, on Wednesday, November 2, 1977, at seven o'clock, p.m., for the following purposes: This meeting was the second meeting held the evening of November 2, 1977. The meeting reopened at 8:46 p.m. to act on the Articles contained in the following Warrant: ARTICLE 1: To see if the Town will transfer from the Revenue Sharing Account the sum of $ and to raise and appro- priate the sum of $ to be transferred to the Legal and Engineering Account or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 1 to read: To see if the Town will transfer from the Revenue Sharing Account the sum of $50,000 and to transfer from the Overlay Surplus Account the sum of $30,000 to be transferred to the Legal and Engineering Account or take any other action thereon. Motion carried. ' ' ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to rescind the action taken at the May 5, 1976 Annual Town Meeting, Article 89: "To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds, or take from the Stabili- zation Fund the sum of $ for site work and con- struction of the Highway Department facility, or take -, any other action thereon." Submitted by the Municipal Site & Building Needs Committee ACTION: To take from the Stabilization Fund the sum of $100,000.00 to construct a Highway Department Facility. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 2 as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote .to transfer from the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II funds the sum of $6,874.60 to meet the obligation of the additional 53rd payroll week for the Town employees for the fiscal year 1977/78 or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to accept Article 3 as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate an additional sum of money to be applied to the Town Insurance Account or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 4 to read: "...to transfer the sum of $2,500 from the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Title II Fund." Motion carried. ARTICLE 5.
