4-10 Special Town Meeting -Part Two _2- November 2, 1977 Article 5 continued. appropriate or take from available funds a sum of money for architectural fees for the building process of the Mashpee Sub -Fire Station or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 5 to read: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $2,000 for architectural fees for the building process of I ,the Mashpee Sub -Fire Station or take any other action thereon. Motion made and seconded to Postpone Article 5 Indefinitely. Motion carried. ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate an additional sum of money to meet the implementation of the Mashpee Sub -Fire Station Contract or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 6 to read: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $31,097 to meet the implementation of the Mashpee Sub -Fire Station. Motion defeated. ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Highway Chapter 81 Account the sum of $14,000 to the Old Barn- stable Road and South Sandwich Road Construction Account or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 7 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate , the sum of $30,534.00 to be expended in conjunction with highway construction under Chapter 90 guidelines; $7,634.00 representing the Town's share and $22,900.00 representing the State's share. These monies to defray the cost of construction of Great Neck Road, Old Barnstable Road and South Sandwich Road:, The State's share when reimbursed to be returned to Surplus Revenue or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 8 be accepted as read. Motion carried. ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $4,126.50 for the purchase of a 12 -ton trailer to transport tractors for the Highway Department, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 9 be Indefi- nitely Postponed. Motion carried. ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds or to raise and appropriate the following sums of money to pay fiscal year 1976/77 unpaid bills or take any other action thereon: ' MASHPEE BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION Alfred Peterson and Sons, Inc. $ 38.00 MASHPEE WAMPANOAG INDIAN MUSEUM General Electric Credit Corporation ............. 37.22 ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 10 to read as follows: "...the Town will vote to transfer from Anti - recession Fiscal Assistance Title II Funds the following sums to pay fiscal 76/77 unpaid bills: BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION EXPENSE Alfred Peterson & Sons, Inc . .................... $ 38.00 WAMPANOAG INDIAN MUSEUM EXPENSE General Electric Credit Corporation ............. 28.41 Motion carried.
