Parking is currently random and. not <br /> specific on the existing unpaved lot. The reconfiguration and asphalt paving of the site will allow <br /> for the parking of 17 boats with trailers.lined on an angle design with one way traffic circulation. <br /> In MaY,201.6;Town Meeting-voted to recommend the-$75,000 Ockway Boat Ramp_Improvement <br /> project, which.'jnvolved the replacement of the:wo'oden structure in disrepair with aluminum <br /> marine-grade material. <br /> The-vote of the Community Preservation Committee was_unanimou5.4-0(1 abstention) n'support <br /> of this article. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends Town Meeting approval by a'Vote of x-x <br /> The Finance CoriiMittee r'ecomrnends_Town:Meeting approval by a voteof 5-0 <br /> Article 7.(D#6).: <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from the Community <br /> Preservation 10% Affordable Housing Reserves in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L., <br /> Chapter 44B, §5,the sum of$375,000 for the purpose of funding the Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> New Buy-Down Program exclusively for Mashpee residents, including necessary costs and <br /> expenses related thereto, as recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, or take <br /> any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> and the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Explanation: The purpose of this appropriation is to assist the Mashpee Housing Authority with <br /> the purchase of.affordable homes in the Town of Mashpee. In the new program, rental Domes <br /> would be purchased and administered by the Mashpee Housing Authority in order to maintain <br /> affordability using CPA monies for down payment costs. The need for such affordable housing in <br /> the.Town has been identified by the Housing Authority and it is apparent due to the lack of <br /> affordable rental units currently on the market. <br /> 4 <br />
