Accounts Payables* Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the month of September 2014 and total as follows: $46,884.95 for 4001, $8,909.00 for <br /> Section 8, $30,232.00 for MRVP, $29,127.38 for Asher's Path Apartments, $7,658.92 for the Housing <br /> Assistance Program and $10,149.34 for Great Cove Community. <br /> Mrs, Botsford reported we have all residents paid in full at all developments. <br /> We are 100% occupied at Homeyer Village. We have one vacancy at Breezy Acres, which we expect to <br /> lease by the end of the month. We have only one vacancy now at Asher's Path and hope to have it <br /> leased shortly this month. All units are now leased at Great Cove Community. Al motion was made by <br /> Mr. Harsch and seconded by Mr.Shackett to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented. The <br /> motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRE R' REPORT& UPDATES: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated she had mailed her report for September but added the following: <br /> • The Spectrum review was done at Asher's Path on October 3 and there were no issues/findings. <br /> • Bob (custodian) is back from being out on medical leave. <br /> • Mrs. Botsford attended the CPC last month to offer a report. <br /> • Mrs. Botsford attended the first meeting of DHCD's Advisory Committee, Because there are so <br /> many changes that need to be done to regulations and guidelines, there will be 5 or 6 separate <br /> working groups to deal with them. Mrs. Botsford has offered to serve on the group to deal with <br /> the requirement that housing authorities file,annual plans. The first meeting has not been <br /> scheduled yet, Mrs. Botsford will keep the board posted. <br /> The chair announces that he would take all other business before going into Executive Session. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Housing Assistance Pr ram CPQ,, Mrs. Botsford reported that when she went to the CPC to give an <br /> update, it was decided that it would be a good idea to have a meeting of herself, two members of the <br /> CPC, two members of the Board of Selectmen, and the Town Manager so that everyone could be on the <br /> same page when we file our application for funding of the Housing Assistance Program. That meeting is <br /> scheduled for next week. After a brief discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Harsch and seconded <br /> by Ms. Allen to submit another application to the CPC to continue the Housing Assistance <br /> Program as it is being run. The motion was adopted., <br /> Ca gtal Improvement Report Admin Fees. Mrs. Botsford informed the Boards that she had applied to <br /> DHCD's for administrative fees for the work MHA had to do for the Breezy Acres Lift Station. She applied <br /> for, and received, $10,700.000. This added to the administrative fees for the other Capital Improvement <br /> work, will be used in the Fiscal,Year 2014 operating budget to assist in salaries. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS: none <br /> 5;0MMUNICATI0NS/C0RRESP0NDEN!g : none <br /> The chair then went on to Old Business, which consisted of an Executive Session for Contract <br /> negotiations. <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
