Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, January 19, 2016 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Committee Members Present: Jonathan Furbush, Joseph Cummings, and <br /> Michael Mendoza. <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:06 a.m. <br /> 73 Mercantile Way <br /> Business: Premier Companies <br /> Agent: Michael Ford, Esq. <br /> Engineer: Baxter Nye Engineering & Surveying <br /> Proposed Use: Automobile collision center including <br /> Repairing and painting of automobiles <br /> Mike Ford (Attorney), Matt Eddy (Engineer), and Joe Laham (Business owner) <br /> appeared. Attorney Ford addressed the meeting and said this is a proposal for a <br /> collision center in an industrial zone. He said the lot is under agreement, but Mr. <br /> Laham has not yet purchased—subject to permitting. Attorney Ford said this <br /> meeting is the first meeting with the boards of Mashpee; next they go to Plan <br /> Review; and then will apply for Special Permit for zoning relief. <br /> Matt Eddy gave a brief description of the building and presented the Site <br /> Construction Plans <br /> • Metal clad building; single story; proposing about 9,950 square feet. <br /> • Front area of building for customers and personnel, rear of the building is <br /> the major area for repairs. <br /> • 10 bays for taking care of all aspects of collision repair. <br /> Building similar to many dealerships----metal clad handles; grey building; <br /> height is about 20 feet to the top. <br /> • Building is back 75 feet from street. <br /> • Security—They have closed-circuit TV. <br /> Mike Mendoza noted on Plan at upper level portion of building band darker color <br /> and on chart color#2 and color#3 listed. Joe Laham said those are 2 shades of <br /> grey and that the darker shade is just used at the band. <br /> Mike Mendoza noted AC units/spray vent units not on Plan. Joe Laham said <br /> they will.be rooftop units and will be shielded. He said HVAC units will be <br /> screened. Mr. Laham stated they will have down-draft spray booths. <br />
