TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual Report: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the Budget to Actual Report prepared by the Fee <br /> Accountant for period ended May 31, 2016. Mrs. Botsford reviewed the report and explained any <br /> discrepancies. <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for review and signature. The warrants for <br /> signature tonight are for the month of May 2016 and total as follows; $52,961.81 for 4001, $4,064.00 for <br /> Section 8, $45,801.00 for MRVP, $32,774.60 for Asher's Path Apartments, $21.52 for HAP, and $9,451.71 <br /> for Great Cove Community. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have rents paid in full at Homeyer Village, Breezy Acres, and Asher's Path. <br /> We have one resident who has not paid at Great Cove Community, who has committed to paying <br /> tomorrow. We are 100% occupied at all properties. Asher's Path will have 1 vacancy that will be leased <br /> by early July. <br /> Mr. Halpern asked about the notice we received from DHCD about the vacancy tracking report. Mrs. <br /> Botsford stated that there has always been a vacancy tracking report that she has to do (in addition to <br /> many other required reports by DHCD) but this is a new system that is supposed to be more user-friendly <br /> and provide better reports. <br /> A motion was made by Richard Halpern and seconded by]ill Allen to accept the Treasurer's <br /> Report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT&UPDATES: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated she had mailed her report for May and had the following additions; <br /> • GCC— recertifications are underway. <br /> • 1 emailed Town Manager about MOU — he will get back to me. <br /> I have hired a person for the BHA office— Betty Rankin is starting next week. <br /> I forwarded some DHCD PHN to you : <br /> • #2016-12 about new Budget Certification and submission process (via email). <br /> + #2016-16 about preparing for PMR. <br /> • #2016-17 about the new Vacancy Reporting System. <br /> DHCD has also sent along guidelines for the RCAT system which will soon be up and running. <br /> + My term as vice-president of small housing authorities with MassNAHRO expired but 1 was re- <br /> elected as a board member. <br /> • An energy audit (free) is being conducted at Asher's Path. <br /> A brief update was also given about the recent MassNAHRO Housing Committee meeting with DHCD <br /> that Mrs. Botsford attended. Mrs. Botsford stated that a lot was going on with regard to preparing <br /> for the Property Management Reviews, new vacancy reporting system, the DHCD issuance of new <br /> guidelines for Executive Director salary caps and contracts, and implementation of the rest of the <br /> requirements mandated by the new housing law, Chapter 235. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: - none <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
