Mashpee Planning Board <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />February 3, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br />Approved 213116 <br />Planning Board Members Present: Vice Chair David Kooharian, Dennis Balzarini, Joe Cummings, <br />Robert (Rob) Hansen <br />Also Present: Tom Fudala-Town Planner <br />Absent: Chairman Mary Waygan, George Petersen <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Waquoit Meeting <br />Room at Mashpee Town Hall by Vice Chairman Kooharian, stepping in for Chairman Waygan, at 7:00 <br />p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES—January 6, 2016 <br />MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept the minutes of January 6th as written. Mr. <br />Hansen seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br />SPECIAL PERMITS <br />Applicant: DPF Mashpee, LLC, c/o Dividend Capital Diversified Property Fund Inc. <br />Location: South Cape Village, Assessors' Map 81, Block 4 <br />Request: Acceptance of Special Permit site plan as revised and approved by the Cape Cod <br />Commission <br />The Vice Chair read the request for the record. Mr. Fudala referenced the letter and document <br />provided in Board Members' packets. Mr. Fudala indicated that no public hearing was needed for the <br />request and that the Board needed only to approve the revision to the pian at the request of the Cape <br />Cod Commission. Mr. Fudala shared the plans and reported that changes included the removal of one <br />parking spot, replaced with a tree and landscaping, as well as additional landscaping to an island. <br />MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to approve the changes to the parking spaces. Mr. <br />Cummings seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br />MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept the revised approval by the Cape Cod <br />Commission. Mr. Cummings seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br />Mr. Cummings signed the revised special permit site plan. <br />RELEASE OF ROAD COVENANT <br />Applicant: Mary Elizabeth & Christopher L. Winslow <br />Location: 21 Deborah Bottle Road, Assessors' Map 71, Block 89 <br />Request: Release of Road Covenant for Lot 5, Winslow Heights subdivision <br />The Vice Chair read for the record the request. Kevin Kirrane was present on behalf of the applicant <br />and noted that the roads had been completed during the 1980s but that one lot remained. The original <br />owners have requested a release in order to build on the lot, the covenant of which was not released <br />during the foreclosure exchange. Mr. Fudala confirmed that all roads had been completed. <br />
